  • Basics of Inorganic Chemistry
  • Sources and Types of Impurities, Limit Tests
  • Pharmacopoeia and Monographs of Inorganic Drugs
3. Pharmacognosy
  • Study of medicinal plants and natural drugs
  • Morphology, histology, and identification of crude drugs
  • Extraction processes and classification
4. Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology
  • Carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins, enzymes
  • Pathology of blood & urine
  • Normal and abnormal constituents
5. Human Anatomy & Physiology
  • Structure and function of human body systems

Practical Training

After completing 2nd year, students must undergo 500 hours of practical training in a hospital pharmacy or community pharmacy (minimum 3 months).

Admission Eligibility for D. Pharma

Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized board with Physics and Chemistry along with either Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject are eligible for admission to the 1st year of the D. Pharm programme. Eligibility criteria for admission to the management quota of vacant seats is a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or Biology.
